I hope you didn’t miss the start of our 5-day, 5-mix, all weekend long Parliament-Funkadelic Extravaganza! It started on Thursday with:

Make My Funk The P-Funk!, featuring many of my favorite P-Funk party jams.

Yesterday we changed gears slightly with:

Make My Funk The P-Funk!-part 2, focusing on the more electronic, guitar heavy rhythms of Funkadelic.

Part 3, posted today, features some of the offshoot groups that round out the P-Funk empire: Bootsy, Parlet, Brides Of Funkenstein, etc.

It’s FUNK and RIBS for the entire holiday weekend and we’re throwing it down one last time as we say goodbye to summer. Oh… don’t forget to wear your sunglasses! {smile}
